Rachel returned to Arvay Finlay in 2026 after completing her articles with the BC Ministry of Attorney General. Her interests include constitutional law, administrative law, and human rights.

Rachel completed her J.D. at Dalhousie University, where she was awarded the A.S. Patillo Prize in Advocacy as a winner of the Smith Shield Moot and the Judge Fran Potts Award for academic excellence and commitment to the overall spirit of Dalhousie. During her studies, Rachel served as a pro bono coordinator for the Elizabeth Fry Society of Mainland Nova Scotia, completed a public law placement with the Office of the Ombudsman, and completed a student placement with the Nova Scotia Supreme Court.

Rachel also holds a Master of Public Administration from Dalhousie and a Bachelor of Arts (Hon.) in Political Science from the University of Victoria.
