We are seeking a professional Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Vancouver team.
Prepare and draft various correspondence and documents
Maintain an efficient electronic file management and bring forward system
Interact with clients by phone and in person
Time entry, general administrative tasks
Book court dates and communicate with court registries, book discoveries and prepare required documentation
Organize and assemble chambers records, books of authorities, appeal records and appeal books
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Legal Administrative Assistant in a litigation firm
Legal Administrative Assistant certification from an accredited institution
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to function well under pressure, manage a high volume of work, and multi-task
Ability to take initiative and think ahead
Positive and willing attitude
Demonstrated commitment to privacy and ethical conduct
Flexibility to work overtime
