Caroline is developing a diverse litigation practice, with an emphasis on appellate and judicial review
advocacy. She uses her legal research and writing skills to find creative solutions to legal issues in
administrative law, constitutional law, criminal law, and Aboriginal law.
Before joining Arvay Finlay LLP, Caroline worked as a judicial law clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada and
at the Court of Appeal for British Columbia.
In 2018, Caroline graduated from a dual degree program, where she obtained a J.D. from the University of
Ottawa and an M.A. (International Affairs) from Carleton University. She received awards for the highest
grade in constitutional law and the highest cumulative GPA over all four years in the J.D./M.A. program. She
also attended the University of Victoria Faculty of Law for the Indigenous Law Summer Intensive in 2016. As
a law student, Caroline completed practicums at the Ontario Court of Justice (as a Law Clerk) and at
Prisoners’ Legal Services (as a Legal Advocate).
She is called to the bar in Ontario (2020) and British Columbia (2020).
